An all-purpose freestone, Blenheim Royal boasts a long track record as California’s No. 1 apricot! This variety produces sweet-tart, aromatic fruit with notes of honeysuckle and honey that shines in preserves but it also delightful fresh, dried, or juiced. It’s an early bloomer early, but ripens in late midseason—around the end of June or early July. It’s adaptable to a wide range of climates, with a decently low chill requirement of 400 hours or less and is also self-fruitful. Zones 7-9.
