Instead of pulling the whole plant after the first harvest, you simply snip the tender, deep-purple florets, which encourages the plant to push out new side shoots. With regular picking, Burgundy sprouting broccoli can be cut six times, providing a steady harvest for 6–8 weeks or more, depending on growing conditions.
