Also called Bloody Cranesbill, New Hampshire Geranium grows 12-18 inches tall with a compact, spreading habit—making it ideal for growing in groups as groundcover. The eye-catching magenta-purple flowers bloom in late spring to early summer and attract pollinators. In the fall, the finely textured green foliage turns a brilliant crimson red. Adapted to handle both hot summers and cold winters, this low-maintenance perennial is attractive edging a flower bed or grown in containers. Deer tend to avoid. Zones 4-8.
