Papaver rhoeas This 2–3 foot poppy bears mostly double, 3–4 inch crinkly blossoms in bright red, salmon, pure white, and light pink. Very delicate in appearance, and long lasting as a cut flower if the cut end is burned immediately with a match. Sow successively for bloom from spring through summer.
